Singer 306 Sewing Machine smooth and quiet
An exceptionally nice Singer 306 sewing machine.
Has the
sweet sound this model is famous for.
Shows some light wear on the sewing surface. Has the
original accessory set and a set of the decorative stitch
cams, plus a vintage oil can.
Carrying case obviously is a newer style.
Wiring is still sound and supple. Machine has just been
professionally serviced.
The 306 is becoming very collectable, as well as being a
fine sewing machine.

Singer Featherweight Tan 221J
An unusually nice looking 221J. Other than the 222, this is
probably the rarest model of Featherweight.
Finish looks very good for a 221J. Very few nicks
& dings, and no wear on the paint. Machine has just
been professionally serviced.....runs and sews great. Belt is
new. Cord & control look excellent. Has original accessory
set in like-new condition. Carrying case is very solid. The
221J cases were made of wood, unlike the green 221
fiberboard case, so they tend to be more durable.
Latches, handle, & hinges look fine. Has the original
sales receipt and warranty from 1967.
The problems I saw were; the instruction book is for a
221K, and has loose covers.The carrying case has the very
common peeling in a couple of places, along with some scuffs
and dings. The new belt is stiff, and slows the machine down.
I can put on a working old belt if desired.
A great gift for someone who likes to quilt, or just
a good investment, as these continue to appreciate in
value.

Nice Singer 221 Featherweight
A very nice 221. Exceptionally good finish. Has just been
professionally serviced and runs and sews smooth as silk.
Wiring and electrics have been checked and are in excellent
condition. Original SIMANCO bobbin case. Has all the original
accessories in very good condition. Carrying case is very
solid and clean, with no peeling of the cover. There is some
typical fraying on the ends of the leather carrying
handle.
A good collectable or a fine machine to use for quilt
class.

Fairly rare green carrying case. Has the original SIMANCO

 1970's Singer Genie 353
A very nice 1970's Singer Genie 353 that is becoming more
and more collectable. This was the lightweight successor to
the Featherweight. In very nice shape. The outer case shows
some typical yellowing and scratches. The machine has just
been professionally serviced, and runs and sews great. The
Genie is easy to operate and relatively trouble-free.

Mocha long-bed Singer 301A
A gorgeous mocha long-bed Singer 301A. This is probably the
nicest 301 I've had. Looks as though it's hardly been used.
The long bed version, which has a much longer fold-out tray,
is rarer and more desirable that the regular 301s. Includes
the carrying case, which I would describe as just average;
it's scratched up on the outside. There are some minor dings
along the rear edge of the machine, which is characteristic of
any 301 kept in a case. Also includes a nice set of
accessories AND an original buttonhole attachment. A beautiful
collectable that's sure to appreciate in value, plus it's a
lightweight, smooth, powerful sewing machine. Has just been
professionally serviced, and ready to go.

Singer 221J, tan color, Serial #JE157484
A rare Singer 221J in tan color. Serial #JE157484. Has the
original attachment box (in fair condition) which fits into
the tray in the carrying case. The attachments and accessories
are like new. The carrying case is very solid, with minor
scuffing on the front. The machine runs and sews great. There
are the normal scratches and dings for it's age, but overall
looks very nice....no corrosion or peeling of the paint.
It
has the original SIMANCO bobbin case. The cord and belt have
been replaced at some point. A good investment, or a wonderful
machine to just use. The tan models continue to appreciate in
value, as they were much more rare than the black or green

Singer 401 A Slantomatic
A really nice Singer 401 A Slantomatic. The 401 was the top
of the Slantomatic line, and is considered the most desirable
today. I have customers who would give up their firstborn
before they would give up their 401! The quality of the
Slantomatics is equivalent to a Bernina or Pfaff costing
several thousand dollars.
Machine is as nice as any 401 I've ever had. It appears to
have been used very little. It has just been serviced, and
runs and sews smooth as silk The most unusual thing about this
machine is that it has the ORIGINAL CARRYING CASE, ACCESSORY
SET, AND INSTRUCTION BOOK. And, the case looks almost new.

A neat and unique sewing set from the 1950s. This little
handcrank machine actually sews, and is in almost unused

Singer 221 k Featherweight with
rare carrying case
A beautiful green/white 221k, with the very rare turquoise
vinyl carrying case. In 30+ years of dealing with sewing
machines I have seen very few of these. For more
information on this case see Nancy Srebro-Johnson's book "The
Perfect Portable".
The case is in really nice shape, no cracks or
deterioration of the vinyl. Even the handle and the chrome
trim look good. The machine itself is about as good looking as
they come with very few chips or scratches. The machine has

an original accessory set and buttonholer.
